Fear the Dark is a 6-reel, 6-row cluster-pays game. The maximum win possible is 5,000 times the bet, achievable in the Alone in the Dark free spins mode.

Features

Full Moon

Landing the Moon Man scatter symbol activates the Full Moon mode and triggers 2–5 symbol multipliers at the top of the grid, each corresponding to a high-paying symbol. Possible multiplier values are: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x.

Symbol multipliers multiply all wins on their corresponding symbols while active. After no more new wins, multipliers are removed sequentially from left to right. All symbols of the relevant type, along with all low-paying symbols, are removed and replaced. The process repeats for each active multiplier. Full Moon mode ends once all multipliers have been removed.

Alone In The Dark

The Alone in the Dark feature activates by landing at least 3 FS (Free Spins) scatter symbols in the base game:

• 3 FS symbols: 10 free spins
• 4 FS symbols: 15 free spins

The likelihood of landing Moon Man symbols increases during this feature. Each additional FS symbol during free spins awards a retrigger of 4 additional free spins.

Darkness Spins

During free spins, candles surrounding the grid remain lit. When all free spins are used, candles are extinguished, triggering Darkness Spins mode, which awards 2 extra spins each time you enter or reset this mode.

Before each Darkness Spin, the grid shrinks by 1 in each direction (first to 4×4, then to 2×2). Activating Full Moon mode or landing a free spin retrigger will reset the grid to 6×6 for the rest of the current spin and reset Darkness Spins.

Darkness Spins mode ends when neither Full Moon nor FS retrigger is achieved.

Symbol Payouts

Ways To Win

Winnings are based on landing 5 or more connecting symbols of the same kind anywhere on the grid. Winning combinations are determined by specified requirements and apply to both the base game and bonus features unless stated otherwise. Each wager is eligible for all possible winning combinations per round.

After a win, winning symbols are removed and new ones drop in until there are no new wins.
