How To Play Stormforged

To play the Stormforged slot game, follow the steps below. But first, ensure that you have an account with King Casino; you can create one by clicking the Join button.

In the Stormforged slot game, payouts are awarded if you land 3 or more matching symbols on a payline. The symbols include stone-carved playing card ranks A, K, Q, and J as low-paying symbols. They could award up to 6x your stake for a 5-of-a-kind combination. 

The crossed swords, axe, helmet, goat, bird, and wolf make up the high-value symbols worth up to 50x your stake for a 5-of-a-kind combination.

Wild Symbols

There are 3 Wild symbols in the Stormforged slot game. The Wild symbols can appear on all the reels but not on the top row. If the Wild symbols land on a near-winning line, they can replace other paying symbols to help you complete the winning combination.

Other Wild symbols that also act as Scatters are the Hand of Surtur and Frost Word symbols.

Portal To Muspelheim Feature

The Portal to Muspelheim feature triggers if the Hand of Surtur lands and rips down the reels, opening up a Portal to Muspelheim. The portals then assume the role of a Wild and can replace paying symbols to potentially complete winning combinations. 

If the Hand of Surtur Scatter goes through a Wild symbol, it unlocks multipliers that are applied to any winning combination the Portal to Muspelheim may participate in. These multipliers can be valued at 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x or 200x. 

However, the Portal to Muspelheim feature will only trigger if the portal created would form or contribute to at least one line win.

Treasure Chest Symbol

The Hand of Surtur Scatter can also rip through a Treasure Chest symbol. If it does, the Treasure Chest will shatter and reveal its contents which are awarded as additional prizes. 

The contents of the Treasure Chest symbols can be 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 75x, 100x, 150x, 200x, 250x, 500x, 750x, 1,000x, 1,500x, 2,000x or 2,500x your stake.

However, if the Hand of Surtur Scatter rips through a Wild and the Treasure Chest symbol simultaneously, the Wild multiplier is applied to the Treasure Chest prize.

Surtur’s Vengeance Bonus Feature

The Surtur’s Vengeance bonus feature is the Extra Spins round of the Stormforged slot. It triggers if you land at least 3 Surtur Scatter symbols on the reels simultaneously. 

The number of Extra Spins you receive depends on the number of triggering Scatters. For example:

• 3 Scatters award 10 Extra Spins
• 4 Scatters award 12 Extra Spins
• 5 Scatters award 14 Extra Spins 

If you land a Wild symbol during the feature, the first 1 that lands on each reel becomes sticky and remains on the reel throughout the bonus feature. Additionally, if there are any Wilds on the reels when the feature is triggered, they are carried over to the bonus game and become sticky. 

However, a reel can only carry 1 sticky Wild at a time, so if a reel already has a sticky Wild, no other Wild symbols can land on it. 

Landing a Frost Sword Scatter during this feature activates the Portal to Midgard feature. During the Portal to Midgard feature, an icy sword cuts through the respective reel from top to bottom. If it cuts through a Wild and a Treasure Chest, it does the same as mentioned in the Portal to Muspelheim feature above. 

If you land an additional 2, 3, 4 or 5 Surtur symbols, you’ll receive an extra 2, 4, 6 and 8 Extra Spins, respectively.

Warriors Of The Storm Bonus Feature

The Warriors of the Storm feature is triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 Viking symbols at the same time, which awards 10, 12, or 14 Extra Spins, respectively. 

This feature introduces the Hammer of Thor symbol. If they land, they transform the reels they landed on into Storm Reels, which are reels full of Wilds, for the duration of the feature. 

The Storm Reels could reveal one of three warriors, each with a multiplier value that applies to any winning combos that pass through the Storm Reel. The warriors and their multipliers are as follows:

• The Rogue can award multipliers of 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x.
• The Shieldmaiden can award multipliers of 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x or 10x.
• The Berserker can award multipliers of 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x or 200x.

Alternatively, the Storm Reels could display a raging Storm instead. If this happens, the Storm Reels remain Wild and move 1 position to the left on the next spin, pushing other Strom Reels that may be on their way 1 position to the right. But they only move if there is an empty position to move into.

Landing an additional 2, 3, 4 or 5 Viking symbols awards an additional 2, 4, 6 and 8 Extra Spins, respectively.

Return to Player (RTP): 96.41%
