Cops N Robbers
There have been some cracking, classic Cops ‘n’ Robbers themed slot games over the years at the casino kings site, Eyecon Gaming’s awesome Beat the Bobbies at the Tower of London to name just one of them. But is it a gold mine of a theme or does it take a very special to slot to stand out?
Putting Novomatic’s Cops ‘n’ Robbers slot to the test is a good way to find out the answer to that question as it is a pretty standard slot machine
Part of the reason for that may be the fact that the RTP is well above average at 96.47%, which means that there is a good chance you’ll get some cash out from it. It’s only medium volatility too, so you can expect semi-regular wins.
In fact, there are quite a lot of things to enjoy about Cops ‘n’ Robbers top slot games, so why not read on to find out more?
Cops ‘n’ Robbers Theme and Graphics
Maybe it’s the action that is fuelled by the chase aspect of Cops ‘n’ Robbers slots, or maybe it’s just that most of them are genuinely good slot games. Cops ‘n’ Robbers slot from Novomatic probably falls into both of those criteria, and that starts with the design of the game.
In Cops ‘n’ Robbers, graphics are on fire. The reels are set against a wall that appears to be keeping inmates into a prison in the background, as it has razor wire fence above it. Immediately, this makes things interesting.
The symbols are mostly made up of cops & robbers themed things, such as an angry looking policeman with a baton, a bag of cash, a pair of handcuffs and more. Each of these are animated with fine graphics.
The ambient sound of the prison yard with an alarm blaring (as if a prison break has just occurred, or maybe it could be a police car siren) certainly keeps players on the edge of their seats, and the sound effects are satisfying to the ears as well.
While Novomatic may not be the biggest and best online casino game developer in the world, they have put out some awesome slots over the years. Some of the following might ring a few bells for you, but if not, we recommend these:
- Book of Ra Magic
- Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe
- Sizzling Hot
- Genie Jackpots
- Arctic Race
- Madame Ink slot
- Reacoonz 2 slot
How to Play Cops ‘n’ Robbers Slot
Visually, Cops ‘n’ Robbers is impressive. But does the gameplay make it easy and enjoyable to play as well? We think so. Although the panel of buttons across the bottom of the reels isn’t the most expertly well designed (it might take a minute to figure out what’s what), there is nothing super complicated about this game.
To give you a bit of a hand in getting started, here’s a few pointers to navigate your way around the settings etc.:
- In the bottom left, you can press the ‘i’ button to read some information about the bonuses in Cops ‘n’ Robbers and view the pay table, which will show you that the highest valued symbols is the bag of gold coins (except for the wild itself).
- Next to the ‘i’ button you can see your overall balance.
- In the centre, there are 3 controls that will adjust the size of your stake. These are the coin value, the coin size and the number of pay lines.
- Your overall bet size is shown just to the right of these 3 parameters
- Press spin by using the big green button in the bottom right, or press the orange Autoplay button next to this which will let you spin the reels up to 100 times automatically.
Also worth mentioning is that when you first open up Cops ‘n’ Robbers slot, it will give you some information about the bonuses within it. This is worth a read, but we will cover those shortly as well.
To win, it’s pretty simple – just land combinations of the same symbol 3 times over or more. The addition of the wild symbol (the stack of gold bars with the word WILD written across it) is useful for this as these will swap for any symbol on the pay table other than the scatter (the cop car).

Cops ‘n’ Robbers Bonus Spins & Free Game Features
There is just the one bonus feature on offer in Cops ‘n’ Robbers but it is a rather nice one indeed. Let’s take a look at the Car Chase feature.
To activate this, just land 3 or more of the scatter symbols on the reels. What this will give you is between 10 and 25 bonus spins, during which ‘Richer Reels’ is activated.
Richer Reels basically just means that there will be no low valued symbols on the reels during the bonus spins. Not only does this mean higher valued wins, but also that wins will be more likely due to there being fewer ways to lose.
During the Car Chase, policeman will be trying to add road blocks onto the reels. If you manage to dodge them all then your overall winnings for the whole bonus round will be instantly doubled!
Verdict on this Slot
Another cracking cops and robbers themed slot game ticked off, then. We loved Novomatic’s take on it, especially with its amazing bonus feature.
While Cops ’n’ Robbers isn’t exactly the most action packed game in the world, it is a heck of a lot of fun to play and the fact that you can win over 14,000x your stake for a medium variance slot is really impressive.
It would be hard to rate this slot anything less than a healthy 8/10. Good work, Novomatic! And for more top slots like this, look no further than the Cool Bananas slot.
